Quick CEL question/headers
Euro headers and DKF section 1. If i choose to not bypass my O2 sensors to my cats will performance be hampered? The CEL doesnt bother me as long as it doesnt affect performance or cause other issues.

I have been running mine that way for the last month including track time.
Seems to run just fine.

Just think Im going to slap on headers and tie up o2's for awhile. Run DKF with resonators. I can clear the codes myself if I ever need to. Looks to me rerouting o2's will be a bitch.

It's not too bad. I just did mine a couple days ago and it took about 5 hours all in including uninstalling/reinstalling my section 1, the x-pipe, and aligning mufflers.

I think what he means is that he will let the light stay on because the O2 sensors will not be plugged into the non-existent cats. He will not be coding anything out. Just clearing the O2 codes at a later date once they get re-routed properly.

Correct. See how long I can run catless before it drives me nuts

Has anyone tried this:
http://www.o2simulator.com/index.php...cb8fa640b86151 I have one on my wifes miata. Turbo'd, no cats, OEM ecu with piggyback (no O2 modification) and has worked well. I'd be interested to see if it will fool the BMW ECU? |

I'm planning on running the same setup as mousitch proposed, completely catless with DKF resonator until section 1 cats arrive. Would it cause any harm if I kept the O2 plug in to the headers and not section 1?
More input regarding performance and other side effect would be appreciated. Thanks.
