Coupe Guys - can you fit 4 wheels / tires?

Hey fellas, searched the forum but couldn't find what I was looking for. Those of you with a coupe, is it possible to fit 4 wheels and tires in the trunk? I assume the answer is "no" but if it's a "yes" it would make my life a lot easier.

Considering adding a 3.0si to the stable and am trying to rationalize it as a "support vehicle" with a bit more usability than my 235 vert. Yes, I know this is a stupid thought process. Just go with it.

Ha, there goes that plan. Thanks for the info though. They aren't all that common so it wasn't like I could just pop over to the dealer to check.

You could always hitch up a trailer.

NICE! I am sure that would be a fun convo with GF. No you cannot drive my second car. And no you can no longer park in your garage spot because the new trailer for my totally impractical car needs to live there.

LOL. Well, depending on how much room on the side of your garage, you may be able to stand up the trailer against the wall. I have a folding trailer (not towed with the Z4) that I have up against the wall and can still fit two cars in the garage.

Will look into it thanks! I haven't driven one of these in a long time need to keep an eye out for one locally and refresh my memory. Figured I could snag one for like $20K and keep the miles down on my M235, drive it for a few years and not lose a ton of $.

The 228i is my Z4 coupe support vehicle - opt for that!

I was able to fit two rear tires in the car stashing 1 in the trunk and one in the passenger seat. With more creativity I could probably squeeze in another, that would still leave me one short...

Ha, I should have just kept my coupe then! I guess when I really think about it I only need to be able to fit one wheel in the car. Had a nightmare flat tire situation a couple of weeks back - I am doing all this contingency planning around me getting a flat, GF sedan in shop (like it was) dad at hospital and unable to help with his Dinan sport wagon.

So really at the end of the day all I really need to manage is something along the lines of: hey babe. get my coupe that you're not allowed to touch. put one of my spare wheels, wrench, and jack in the trunk. do it now and come get me.

The other option is to get the "M Mobility Kit" that comes with the Z4M's. It's a small compressor and a glorified can of fix a flat.

Not a bad idea either. I'd just have an easier time buying yet another car I don't need if I could somehow delude myself into thinking it was practical somehow.

At least I have the convertible angle covered already. With the Z4 I'm firmly if the belief that the coupe is the smart play. Sexy, better performance and less shit to break vs the roadster.

You can put 2 tires on passenger seat.
Maybe 1 in the trunk...I had luggage when my rear tire gave away on a road trip. Bought 2 used tires to get back home.

Super helpful thanks.

Saw a BSM / saddle (I think) one. Was trying to pitch it as a mini version of our wagon.

Dude. What is harder to find -- a woman, or an E86? A man's got to be practical.

I can fit 4 without passenger seat lol. 2 in the trunk and 2 in the pass side. But my rear is all stripped.

She'll be fine she's a good girl and does as she's told. With regards to cars at least.

Get the trailer and hang it from the garage ceiling. Lots of unused volume there above the cars.....

Where is that hitch from? Execuhitch has a listing for the Z4, but no mention of the M. Funnily, their website says '2009+' and the pic is of an E86...
