Hey, I get that feeling from time to time ('what the hell I'm putting up with this shitty ride quality for?'), and when I do, I go out and buy a new set of tires or I buy a new set of shocks.
This happens about every year since I got the car, and it really makes my ride feel better.

I paired some Billy HD's w/the Pro Kit recently, like the ride, but getting some front fender liner rubbing, might have to raise it a bit(not sure how yet, lol).

The rear sits perfect, no sagging or rubbing(w/stock pads)

i wish there was a billstein or other cup kit option that didn't lower the car. i'd love to swap out the OEM suspension for a cup kit, but I can just barely clear the drains and such around LA with the stock ride height. even the non-coilover options have 1" minimum of lowering.

Don't you just love those?
There's a few gas stations around town I can't even go to anymore.
There's no reasonable way to pull back out into the street without draggin' the nose.
Even the RPI skid plates didn't help me. Fangs are both cracked.

Hell, my bone stock Roadster doesn't even clear the speed bumps by my favourite sushi restaurant

I'd like to lower it conservatively, but sometimes I just don't think it's worth the hassle.

the "gutters" created when the primary road in an intersection is built up too high, between the primary road and the road that crosses it, are particularly ridiculous. my wife and I refer to those as "LA flood proofing," which is obviously very important in socal.

Not to resurrect a dead thread. I just started AutoX and my 11 years old Z4M needs new struts and springs. I am in SoCal don't want to lower, what will be the recommended thing to do. Coilovers maintaining factory height with swift springs? Aftermarket shocks and factory new springs?
