First Time Trial Event

Competed in my first time trial event. My transponder wasn't working so they grid me in the back and I had to work my way I up.

Eventually found a clearing and managed to put down a clean lap of 1:19.5 which was good enough for first in my class.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed watching both videos. It was cool watching you hit just over 7,000 ROM and pull 1.3g.

Awesome!

Great driving and control - very smooth upshifting/downshifting/braking - well done.

Thanks man, you really don't get to appreciate these cars until you start driving it in the upper rev range =D

Thanks... I still think I'm over braking and it's costing me a second overall but I'll *slowly* get there.

Would love to know what app you are using to get all that info on the two vids. Looks amazing! I see it's Harry's Lap timer but how do you get it to show on the video?

Correct I used Harry's Lap Timer software on my phone. You can record everything with your camera phone or use multicam view and link an external camera such as a GoPro (which is what I do). The software actually recognizes if a compatible external camera is connected so video overlaying is pretty seamless. You just need to copy the video onto your phone afterwards and the video files are already linked to your laps.

Note, the engine data is captured using a separate obd device.

Read up on the HLT user guide, there maybe a limit as to how many GoPro's you can use...
