Redline
Just went the Redline way....
10w-60 in the crankcase and 75w-140 in the LSD.

I don't understand this comment. Redline's gear oils are pretty much recognized as being some of the best in the industry. Mike Miller (technical guru from the Roundel and Bimmer magazines) recommends them exclusively.

I have redline in my diff and trans right now. The shop I went to only stocks them. We'll see how they work out I guess. |

+1, yearly changes of MTL in the tranny has proven very smooth. Not sure I'd sway from TWS 10w-60 however, but Redline does make some nice product.

I'm running the Redline 75w140 in my differential. I'll change the tranny to Redline when the time comes. Probably stick with the Castrol for the engine but who knows, I may change that over to Redline too!

I seem to recall the Diff change was because Red Line was measured at a higher temp on the track in e46 M3's vs. Castrol OE...

I've used Redline 10W-60 once before because I got a great deal on pricing, but I switched back to the OEM Castrol for warranty purposes.
