The stock exhaust is not restrictive by any means and its VERY hard to improve on the design, performance wise, on that stock muffler. The stock muffler is basically a straight pipe split into two at the muffler. If you look inside, you can see it. For the first sec 3 prototype, we went with a single pipe muffler delete. Below is the z4 with our sky/porsche 911tt exhaust tip.

Stock sec 3 is 21.7lbs, our sec 3 muffler delete is 6lbs. So.......our sec 3 MD on both sides is 12lbs vs the stocks 43.4lbs. Great weight savings.

Here is a quick video of the exhaust at idle and rev. The sound is by no means done or tuned but the vid would give you guys an idea of what we are doing.

We'll have to put a race muffler on there also. Otherwise under load, its going to sound like a fart can. I didnt know you had a muffler delete idea. I can assure you, we dont copy ideas, we make them.

Wow those tips look nice and beefy. That's one of the problems I had with Stromung was that their tips were too small.

Don't take ROM3N too seriously...he'd buy if he wanted it, even if it cost 9999.
