I never did the crankcase vent hose. Besides the cracked clamp, the o-ring seemed ok. If it was a $25 E46 M3 part I would have jumped on it right then, but it's really $143. Today it started fine. As in no dip at all, further adding to the mystery. The battery is a good place to look again. I have an INPA cable already, might as well run it.
