FantasticZ4's Finalized Pictures

As per the man himself:

Quote:
This project started the first week on November. And many of the ideas has been taken from the BMW MOTORSPORT Z4. The things I didn't like on the motorsport version was; The front, so we did our own. And also the huge gap between the wheels.

This kit is made of glassfiber and it's wided TOT 100mm.

Se www.custommania.se for order and info!

The paint job is done with House Of Kolor Snow white pearl and for the stripes/mirrors it's Tangelo pearl. Finallt done with eight layer of clearcoat.

The future plans will be do the hood in glassfiber, put on a diffusor and a porsche wing.

Been following the build; but not sure how I feel about the finished product.

Rear bumper looks great. The vents behind the front tires look odd, as does the front bumper. The orange roundels got to go - at least do black.

The color is pretty cool; would love to see it in different lighting.

I too have followed this project from the beginning, but the result is not my style. It is certainly creative and well done. Just a little too much lip on that front bumper for my taste. Great job though and thanks for keeping us involved throughout the fabrication.

I like how it looks, but knowing that it's all fiberglass, I'd still like to know how much it weighs.

Rear looks great, super wide. Not a fan of the front "lip" though, too plain and solid. Great job on the body work though.

Thanks for the comments and critics, I guess this is one you have to love or hate

As for the pictures and paint. It's not the best pictures and not a fair weather so the paint can show it's real color! But I will post up more pictures when it's more suny here!

The front lip, well yeah I can feel you guys don't like it, it was hard to make it right. The corners are to "squared" like some said. But then you have to build up and wide even more outwards on the front, don't know if that's a good idea. Maybe next time we do a front more like a Hennesay viper venom?

as for the weight loss I can't give you any numerbs yet, but I will as soon as possible! And how it feels? Well I feel a little different but not so much, but I havnät drive som much either :S....

Thanks again for the bad/good critics appreciate it! Im pleased with the car and it goes like crazy and the suspension is awsome!

I have been following your build thread since it has started, and i must say, it turned out pretty nice. I don't really like the G-power wheels, and you should lower it a little more. Other than that, you should get some type of rear spoiler, but nicely done. Good job doing all that custom body work!

Hm. I followed up on your build but final outcome seems little disappointing.
Holes on rear bumper seem little too big perhaps it might look better with big GT wing.
Exhaust pipe is boring and not really flowing with the car, and blacked out tail lights look very ricy.
To top it all, you need much more aggressive wheel set up IMO.

But A+ for your effort.
