Question WTB: Z4 M Aftermarket Clutch & Lightweight Fly

My new trans is in @ my dealer. They are replacing it because sometimes under heavy Accel. 2nd gear would grind. Several people had this issue and had their transmissions replaced by BMW. I asked my dealer if they would do a aftermarket clutch for me and they said Yes.

So I was wondering what Aftermarket options are out for the Z4M.

Are there any stage 2 kits out. A grippier clutch with a lighter flywheel. I might be going F/I soon too so this would be a good idea to just get it done and over with.

Thanks.

I would assume you can use anything suitable for the M3; as that portion of the drivetrain is identical, right?

FI in that car is going to be a monster.

I went with a J&B clutch and lightweight flywheel. I think the whole assembly was approximately 30 pounds. The clutch is definitely stronger and I had to readjust the after market clutch stop I purchased since the engagement point was raised.

You are writing about FI. Who makes something for the BMW Z4 M?

Thanks,
Dan
