Garage List
H&R Coilovers

Hi guys. I am trying to put a list of items that I want to get in my car. OS far I've figured out the rims so now I move to the suspension - or the other way around.

I really like the price of the H&R coilovers and someone even mentioed the inwards were actually Bilstein. So what better than dealing with two of the best companies out there.

I just need to figure out this for myself. How is the ride quality compared to stock M coupe? Going over bumps, cracks, general road unevenness?

How long do these coilovers last? I am not tracking the car. probably making about 10K km per year.

And finally for the M coupe what else do I need to get to put the wheel alignment back to normal?

Thanks

If you're talking about the Street Performance coilovers there's several threads about them already. They are a little firmer than stock but not harsh in my opinion. From what I have read most are very happy with them. Quality is great.

I love mine anyway.

Good economical choice for street.
They don't have compression or rebound adjustment, so a little lacking for track use.

At a reasonable lowered height, alignment is not an issue.
If really low, you will have camber to deal with.

i use my coupe primarily for street and recreational use with random urges to hoonigan...H&R coilovers are great. they are defiently firmer than stock, but with a smoother compression and less jarring ride (if that makes any sense). ive had mine for 5 years now no issues with great performace
