Non stop tech s.s. Lines with stop tech bbk

Hello all,

I am about to purchase a set of s.s. Brake lines (Harrison motorsports) and am curious if the fittings are universal between most manufactures in the event that I ever upgrade to a stop tech BBK?

Also, on turner motorsports website, why does it show the stop tech s.s. Lines as only including 4? The z4m uses 6?

Can't speak to the fitting sizes but when I upgraded my lines to braided they came from UUC as 4 lines. The rears incorporated both rear lines in one piece per side
This is on a non M, pretty sure same for M

BMW calipers uses a different fitting than most universal BBKs. Majority of BBKs use banjo bolts to adapt to caliper while BMW lines threads into the caliper directly.

Depending on how the line is routed, you can supply just 4 lines (2 in front 2 in rear) by replacing the hard line between the 2 rear lines. Just the rear lines will be very long and will have to be routed inside the rear trailing arm. Otherwise you need 6 lines (2 in front, 4 in rear) otherwise you'll still have a significant portion of the rear lines being flexible rubber with braided nylon.
