Bump. Was gone on vacation for a week, really did not use the internet much for 7 straight days while in Ireland with family. Just put in 5 cars. Me thinks this is going verrrrry slowwwly.

You can do more than 5 cars now, I posted a new site on the first post.

Its going very slowly because we're not getting enough participants. Thats why I stopped for a while.

Guys. Check the list. I think even though there is only a couple of us plugging away at the coupes - we have entered a lot of cars. With only 2-3 of us entering 5-10 cars per day - we have done over 1/3 of the coupe's total. If we got another 5-10 people to enter 5-10 cars per day - the list would shrink dramatically and it is really no time commitment. I know Stig had suggested the geniusvin website to enter more cars each day - but the original website is also still fine because I am not looking to spend more time on it each day. Just putting one more pitch out for more participants. Not sure if the roadster list is making more progress....

I know no one seems to be doing this but we're up to about 790 coupes done! Almost halfway there even with low participation - imagine if everyone who read this post went and did 5 today, and 5 more tomorrow, and 5 more the day after..

Jophish - I gave up. I think you and I were the only ones working the coupe list and we personally did hundreds of cars - but we have over 1000 to go. You are right - if we just had participation it would be easy, but we dont.

Just hit 1000 coupes checked

23 Salvaged (21 collision, 1 flood, 1 Stolen)

97.7% of coupes checked so far have clean titles

Knocked out the one i just purchased and several more after that (after a brief scare when my coupes vin didnt show up, then saw i had to click the coupe tab, i was still in roadsters!)

Just did 20 roadsters!

Started using Chrome and immediately got the 'You have exceeded the number of VinChecks in a 24 hour period even though I skipped yesterday. Switched to I.E. and knocked out 5. Went back to Chrome, cleared browsing data, and made it through 15 more before I hit 'the limit'. Seems that VinCheck relies on cookies.

Anyway, found 1 salvage 5UMBT93576LY52425 and 1 theft 5UMBT935X6LY52421. Last VIN checked was 5UMBT93536LY52423 and was clean.

Can someone verify my results on these 3 VIN's? It would be cool if clearing browsing history would allow more that 5 per day.
