TWS Oil Question
I always do my own oil changes in my E85M. I just went to buy the oil and it's the label it is now different.
Both say they are recorded by BMW for M engines, both have BMW part #s. My main question is, can I mix them? Thanks! |

Newer stuff has a different additive package with more moly and titanium to help with wear. I did an oil sample after my lead went from 8ppm to 5ppm so I'll continue to use it. It's only one data point, but it's in the right direction.

Edge is the newer bottle. Even the newer Edge TWS has been changed a couple of times. I have an older bottle with an SM API rating. The latest should have an SN API rating.
