Has anyone got the Bavarian Technic software to work with a different cable?

I bought a Vag Com when I had my TT... I'd rather try to get their software to work with my cable instead of trying to sell it and buy another one. I can currently read and clear the OBDII codes with the Vag Com software, but I'd like to be able to adjust the automatic headlight sensitivity, turn on my short burst blinkers, etc.

I don't think anyone's been able to do the user settings without going to the dealer.

I have the Professional Bavarian Technic Tool. While it has some limited use for the Z4, it will not do what you want. For me, it was a total waste of money. It will not reprogram the CKM information, which is what you need done. You can get a GT1 and use the PROGMAN software to change the settings you need. Chuck I
