Will the navigation dvd in an e60 work on z4?

Hi, a friend of mine is turning in his e60 m5 and I wanted to know if the navigation dvd which is newer than mine will work on my car so that i can have newer maps. I have a mkiv system which takes dvds. thanks

I don't think it will. The newer systems in the E60 and E92 etc use dual layer DVDs and the MKIV can't read them.
