I wish...335xi was out of my price range. I ordered a white (again) lol 328i..Beige leather/burlwood dash, xenon lights, blutooth, heated/power seats. I should be taking delivery next week hopefully.

Nice, did you get one of the facelifted ones or one of the earlier ones?
I guess I don't even know if the facelifted ones are out yet, I have been out of the loop the last month or so. Stupid work.

I wish they made a 2+2 Z4 like the 911

What good would it be?
2+2 isn't even a real back seat. It's for kids or a dog. And in a sports car? it's just dead weight to me.

I agree. If they took the +2 out of the 911 and put the engine there instead of in the rear bumper, they would have an exceptional car.
But instead they don't and I'd rather get an Audi R8 over a 911 any day.

Yeah, and for a 2+2 in the Z4 they would probably need to remodel it, or just sacrifice the entire trunk space.

Now, they are all good points. That said, wouldn't you agree that it would be nice to have 6 more inches behind the seat so you could recline the seat back more without it rubbing on the roll hoop? And it would be great to be able to throw small parcels behind the front seats. A 2+2 isn't for people, it is for stuff. And it gives you just a bit more cabin room. How about a 2+ the plus for your stuff. the front could be six inches shorter and move that behind the seats. Since having both the Z4 and the 911 I am really liking that space behind me.

I would kill to be able to recline a little more. Plus, I think my girlfriend would love that as well when we are on long trips and she has to try and sleep upright

See, that is what I mean. That measly little 2 inches they added in the E89 doesn't quite get it. And since they put a folding tin roof on it they should have gone all the way and put that silly little seat in the back and made it a 2+2. There is no trunk anyway and no one would have noticed if the front was just a few inches shorter.

The newest version of the Cayman S is actually not too bad but it could still use more power. The fact that a front engine 4 door BMW M3 is faster around a track than the Cayman S and 911 says a lot. Where's the Cayman Turbo or Cayman GT3?

Depends on your settings of how many posts you view per page. I think if you view the most (40?) per page it is 106 For newbs this thread looks like 200+ pages of random shit. Haha.
As for me, I am missing the cheap (er) modding and think my next go fast car is going to be a japanese one that I can work on a lot easier and mod cheaper.

cars are about more than just "go fast". They need to speak to you, have an emotional connection. Let's face it, cars are like women. There are a lot of women out there, some tall, some short, some thin, some fat. But there is usually one type that you are drawn too, that make your heart beat faster. It is the sum of the parts, not how fast they are.
