06 z4 roadster with M seat seat belt question

I bought a Z4 roadster over the winter, it has M seats. Had it parked for the winter and I just start driving it a lot and noticed that the shoulder part of the seat belt rubs against my neck and is uncomfortable. I'm 6'.

Any one else have a similar issue, if so how did you get around it? I'm thinking a seat belt extender to move the buckle to the left.

Thanks.

Will adjusting the seat help?

This always annoyed me so I put a small bolt through the guide holding it lower, it helps keep it away from my neck. Also it does need impede the function of the seat belt at all.

I just use a simple seat belt clip fromWalmart, It holds the shoulder strap at my stomach and over my shoulder away from my neck.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm gonna pass on the Tiddy Bear, not my style... and try the clip.

Roadster Solutions sells seatbelt pads that cushion the belt against the occupants’ shoulder. See:

Scroll down to see them. $49 for a set I think.

There are a number of different ones on eBay like this

There are 2 types of belt deflectors made for the m seats.
Do you have the old or new style.
I dont know if they make any difference (I have the old, never tried the new, but don't have any problems), but if you have the old, you could try the new (not vice versa, the old one is not sold anymore afaik but I might be wrong)
I'm taller than 6' though.

Just picked up a set of these as I find the belt gets pretty tight and uncomfortable (also 6' so know what you're talking about!)

I have the non-sport seats and my belts also do this, I tend to always wear a collared shirt. My Lucy want me to dress up for her

5'10 reporting here....wait, we're talking about heights right?

All jokes aside, the seat belt also rubs on my neck, itches pretty bad once i get home after a 30 minute drive

I had someone give me one of the pad-style items. I hated it. All it did was make the bad thing worse. I also tried lodging things in the guide on the seat in an attempt to keep the belt a bit lower. It might work for a 6-footer but I'm 5'10" and it did nothing for me.

I just reach up and move it occasionally. I've driven 10+ hours without being overly bothered.

I have wraps similar in design to the ///M wraps linked in post #8, but mine are plush and fluffy generic black. Feels kinda nice.
Probably came from Walmart or Target. Not sure. Wife bought a sack of them years ago for all of the cars/trucks.
