It's pretty typical for a dealer to rake you over the coals and give you $20K for it and then turn right around and ask $30K. It's the nature of the business, buy low and sell high. At the end of the day, if the car doesn't sell, the dealer will have to wholesale it.

With about 10k in extras, I'd sell mine for 35K, but even at that price I don't know of anything I could replace it with that would be as much fun other than possibly another Coupe, and then I'd have a hard time selling and replacing the mods.

With nearly 50k in mileage, I'd be impressed if they offer you anything over $29k... but may as well see what they offer.

Never! Although I will consider a trade for a Ferrari 250 GTO.

Yea this past year I was working a job that was a 70 mile round trip 5 days a week. I also went on several 1000+ mile road trips as well. I traded because warranty was about to run out and I was afraid stuff would start breaking and I didn't want to start fixing, so basically maintenance and upkeep costs. I also wanted something faster in a straight line. I ended up getting a 2012 5.0 Mustang GT

What's funny is at least you had work to blame for that mileage... I don't even drive mine to work, yikes!

I do miss it some, miss my leather and nav, sitting lower to the ground. I still get as many looks in the 5.0 though. I live in hardcore redneck usa and more people are more excited about fords and chevys than bmw's, luxury cars and other high end cars.

Mine is for sale for $32k with stock wheels, $36k with BBS LM-Rs. I have a guy interested but timeframe is probably within a couple months.

My point is that pokeybritches commented that he, the OP could find out how many AW MC's there were.
I have provided that data. These numbers are according to the spreadsheet that we have been using on here (this forum) for the last two years or so... North American Numbers: Number built for 2006 1139 Number built for 2007 536 Number built for 2008 140 Total Number of Z4M Coupe's 1815 148 Alpine White 592 Sapphire Black 204 Imola Red 48 Space Gray Metallic 36 Monaco Blue Metallic 297 Interlagos Blue Metallic 212 Titanium Silver Metallic 1 CarbonBlack Metallic 68 Sepang Bronze Metallic 209 Silver Gray Metallic |

Admittedly, I didn't realize you were referring to his post, butttt I was just being ficicious with you since you were putting out such a bold, technically inaccurate statement. Yes, there are 148 in NA - but my point was there are more than 148 alpine m coupes in existence
Anyway, nm me. Was just bein a pain in the ass so the next noob on the site doesn't think he has one of 148 in the world. Quote:

You guys really don't get it. The production numbers are low because no one wanted these cars. Like the split window coupe corvette it will take 30 years before car becomes a collectable.
