Just bought a 2005 Z4 2.5i roadster with 5-speed manual transmission last month. I am the second owner. The car has 59k miles and is in great condition.

Silver with black M-Seats leather with premium and sports packages.

Bought my Z4 the last of June this Year. Spotted it on a car lot, drove it on a back road with the top down and fell in love with it. I am still in love with it, what a sweet ride.

I enjoy all the post, Z4 owners pretty much feel about their cars the way I feel about mine.

These things were made to drive!!!!!

Welcome! I got my Z4 3.0 back in Feb and my husband still asks every month, 'are you liking your car?' and my reply is 'I love my little car!'

I just noticed this thread and I thought I'd just join in and say I'm glad I got my Z4. I've had a ton of fun driving it. I just wish I had joined the forum first or I probably would have bought an M version instead just because it's that much faster with a lot more available upgrades. On the good side, there's not much more I can do to this car except a set of rims, a drop, BBK and intake.

Stumbled across a used M4 Coupe while out shopping for a new car for my wife and fell in love with it. I couldn't persuade her into getting it (she wanted something a bit more "practical"). So I'm hoping to replace my MDX after the first of the year with a 2007 or 2008 E86 coupe.

I've been browsing the forum since last week, when I found it while reading up on the E86. I've learned quite a lot already. I much prefer the coupe's styling over the roadster, but am still debating between the 3.0si and the M. It will be my primary transportation (and I don't anticipate doing any track driving).

In the meantime, I'll be mostly a lurker.

More power = more excitement
Test drove Z3 and Z4 roadsters (auto & manual) all non-M, did more research and found an M Coupe which I purchased sight unseen. I found a huge difference in performance. Couldn't be happier with my decision.

Everything I've read says 'Buy the M Coupe'. These cars are rare in my neck of the woods so higher re-sale value too (As if THAT would ever happen).
Only tracking planned will be a couple of instructional weekends.
