Hi. I'm Ksquared down here in South Florida and I've just come from a 2003 Boxster S to a 2007 Z4si. Couldn't pass it up - Sport Package; Premier Package and only 12,500 miles with 2 year additional certification.

I've only put a few miles on it - but I like it very much so far. Seems quick reflexed, with a nice, short throw gearbox. Comfortable, too, with the M seats it has.

I'll post some pictures when I get a few minutes.

Oh, by the way - my wife liked mine so well she traded her 2002 Thunderbird for a 2008 Z4si, but with auto trans and the red interior package (no sport package). So we've gone from never having owned a BMW to 2 of them in 4 days!

Long time lurker, first time poster! (well second post).

Thought I'd come in and say hello! I have a 2005 z4 3.0i that I've had since mile zero (well close enough). I've done a few mods thanks to the wonderful posts on this board. It's a great community and I thought I should finally join already!!!

So hello and here's my little z4 roadie :-)

Taken in Santa Monica last weekend.

I'll run no front plate until the law says otherwise.

I'm still learning about my Z4 but my vanity plates are on the way!! No mods as of yet, but there may be a few SMALL mods done later on...
Nice! Welcome! Small mods eh? Hang around here awhile and we'll fix that!

Saying hello. New member here, in Austin, TX.

'04 E85, Toledo Blue/Tan, 3.0 Sport

Have had the car for over six months and am very impressed with it. I traded up from an E34 540i/6 and haven't looked back. I do miss the extra space that 5-series had, though. Before that, 2 E28s, an E24, 2 E21s...

I'm a regular reader/poster on Bf.c, but have only found ZPost recently. I'll post pics once I get used to the interface.

Hey all. New user here. I'm looking forward to being back in BMW-land after a couple year hiatus in an SL, then a Mini. Before that I had a Z3 2.8 for ten years that I didn't realize how much I missed until it was gone. The moment I took an M Roadster out for a test, I was hooked. I picked up a great condition 2007 in Nevada and drove it home last week. I spent a little time in LA, then spent the entire 6-hour drive up the 101 to SF grinning.

Now that I've had some time and put some miles down with the car, I can say that BMW did a great job of improving on the Z3 with this. It's got a much more solid feel than the Z3 did, and is wayyy more comfortable for long trips. It's the first car I've owned that I really don't have an urge to do any substantial modifications to. It's pretty perfect just the way it is! The only thing I'm considering is to black Plasti-dip the chrome rings in the front grills. One HUGE improvement is in the stereo system. In the Z3 the stereo was a pathetic joke. In the Z4 it's pretty great as-is. Love that. And... loving the copious grunt with the extra 130HP over the Z3. I'll never get tired of hearing that exhaust note either.

Anyway, good to be back in the BMW forums, seeing names like Ron Stygar and others again. The online BMW community is the best, way better than the Mercedes forums, which are populated by a whole lot of douches with a few cool ones thrown in here and there. I've pretty much decided I'm a BMW person for life at this point.

This is the best pic I've got of my new sled for now. One of these weekends coming up I'll get it out into the Santa Cruz mountains with the DSLR for some proper car porn shots.

Hey guys; not sure if I ever introduced myself, but as I have finally joined the ownership crowd, I figured I may as well: 06 3.0 si in Richmond, VA, reporting in!
Stats: Silbergrau (Gray) over Beige interior with black cap; Prem, Sports, Nav. Upcoming Mods: Homelink and iPod control, maybe shorty antenna, we'll see.

Just wanted to say, happy to finally have my first Zed, and already looking forward to a Z4MR in the future... BTW, if you ever run across an Interlagos with beige top and interior, please let me know! Extra points for wood trim, and double extra points for Nav!

Thought I'd post some pics of my SMALL mods....lol....but I'm open to suggestions. haha
Sorry for the less than quality, iPhone pics...
We have cut down the stock antenna (FM is fine); plugged and painted the front plate holes; polished the stock tips (good enough for me & $120. cheaper); removed visor labels.

Garage List
Hi Everyone!
Let me introduce myself for the first, I live in Calgary and own a 06 Z4 MR with less than 19,000 km. Picked it up about a month ago, traded in my 06 Z4 3.0i. I currently have not been driving my new car yet due to weather and road conditions, so I'm anxious to get it out on the road soon. I've installed the BMW Z4 strut bar, BMW Sirius Radio, 9500ix RD, stubby antenna, and ash tray Aux In. I also have a custom fit car storage cover and the trunk lid Z4 storage liner.

Additional mods on order are new wheels 19" VRM V718 c/w PS2's and Eisenmann Exhaust mufflers.

See my garage for some additional photos.

I really enjoy reading all the treads and discussions

Thanks

Looks like you've used the down time due to weather to get some nice work done on the car. Now of course if the weather would just cooperate, right? Enjoy and welcome aboard!

Beauty man! That drive on the PCH is something I so want to do in this car! Sounds like some fun is planned for this weekend, and can't wait to see the shots! And, it looks like you've added another Z4M to the Norcal contingent!

I loved the Pam suggestion on the visors. Love Pam--it's my favorite household lubricant! I had no idea you could "stubbize" the stock antenna! I learn something new every day around here (or maybe I just missed the DIY someone else did? ).

Great pics btw!
