Help with jrz suspension

So today I was changing my springs to 550 on the front since I kept complaining my car was too stiff, and when I removed the bump stop, both of them were shredded......I asked my friend and he thinks my springs are too short which is 6". but I am already at the lowest setting and I have 1 finger and a half tire to fender which i think is still too high.

He also think my shocks are bottoming out damaging the bump stops or bump stop is too long.

Do you guys think there is a flaw in the jrz design? Or its just from e36 car which is a little longer?

I would get a helper spring or longer spring to solve this problem, but then my car would be 2 3 fingers higher which is idiotic.

Any help will be appreciated. I am also gonna contact jrz to see, cuz I dont see any solution atm. thank you!

I had a similar thing with MCS.
The issue is two fold.
One is the e36 damper length
Second is the lost space taken up by the camber plates.

Those GCs look like they take up a lot of space above the upper perch.

On my MCS the Vorshlag plates were also taking up a lot of space.
They did a modification for me that recovered about an inch which worked out fine.

Also you can check your damper shaft travel by putting a zip tie around the shaft.
When it compresses, the zip tie moves up the shaft.

Your spring length makes zero difference but 6 is correct.
If you put in a longer spring you will lower the bottom perch to get the same ride height = no difference in damper reaching end of stroke.

Ride height however does make a difference.

With MCS there is no external bump stop on the shaft, so the zip tie is very accurate.
Your bump stops may push the zip higher than the shaft is actually travelling.

The other thing some guys use is an O ring but that needs to go on during assembly.
