Disa issue. Clicking sound
I checked the other threads about total failure but my vacuum
Seal seemed fine but has a small wiggle room in the open position. I tested the valve and it stays put when I put my finer on the hole. Is it dying and if so is there anything I can do to stop the wiggling? I'm guessing that's what is causing the noise. |

The top of the flapper has a metal pin that holds the flapper to the hoop/cage that works loose or out. Another source of ticking is the Vanos. If vanos is a issue, I would expect you to complain of lack of throttle responce. Check youtube for video's of both. On startup a source of ticking is the secondary air pump that only lasts for 20 seconds or so, this is normal.

When I unplug the Disa, the sound goes away. I was wondering if anyone here had the same wiggle room issue. It moves a cm in either direction if I hold it by the body and turn it back and forth. I figured someone might be able to help solve the wiggle issue maybe?

I think the part bought new is only like $59. That is what I was charged from my repair guy anyway.
