Normal Noise from Catless Headers?

Just installed a set of CPI catless stepped headers, and I'm hearing a sort of 'whooshing' noise when past half-throttle. I thought maybe something was leaking, but I checked and couldn't find anything. No ticking noises, just a loud 'shhhhhhh' when I'm giving it the beans. Idle noise sounds fine. Is this normal? First time I've put headers on one of my cars, so I don't really know.

Put a few more miles on it, and got under the car again a few minutes ago. Checked for leaks with soapy water, checked for rubbing, tightened everything etc. Still sounds the same. At this point I think it's just normal S54 raspiness, somewhere in between a whoosh and a buzz. Wife says it sounds tinny, she's right it sounds like an e46M. Might look into something to help it, but not a big deal tbh, still sounds good just different.

What setup are you running?

I still have OEM US sec 1 & 2, thinking of getting a resonator or two added to my sec 1 like the e46 crowd. I was driving this morning and the noise sounds like it's coming more from sec 1 than the front of the car, which matches what I read on their forum. Will probably get this done and relocate the 02's at the same time, assuming this SES light comes on at some point...

Youtube clip? I have an M54 and I wouldn't describe wooshing.

Does your car have the induction pipe that leads to the cabin? Extra flow causing this noise in the cabin maybe?

I do have the sound generator installed, but the noise doesn't sound like it's coming from there, it's louder when I have the windows down and sounds like it's coming from underneath

I'll try recording a vid later today. The closest I could find is the vid below at around 1:15, the best I could describe is that when the rasp gets high enough frequency it sounds kind of like SHHHHHHH
