OMG!!!!!!

I really don't know how to put it in words.... I got home and opened the box, put the right one on (it took 10 minutes)... then the Left one... (see the pictures). It is REALLY EASY (but the lift helped)... Then I started it up... It's unbelievable!!!! If I want, I can run it at low rpms and it really doesn't make much noise.... BUT... when you get on it... IT'S BAD!!!!!!!!!!!... The best $900 bucks I ever spent... But I see myself getting in trouble with this because it does turn heads..... Chuck I

Chuck,

Please describe the sound.

Does it sound like a Corvette with plenty of low rumble and growl or does it sound like a coffee can ricer 1.6L VTEC?

Seriously, I need a vivid description.

Listening to my car unbolted, it was very very deep and racey. Not "coffee can" like at all so it would be a safe bet to say the RPi exhaust wouldnt be bad sounding at all.

It's really not a ricer sound... When it idles, it's really quiet. When you hit it, it growls. When you back off, there is little rumble...

pm me your phone number and I'll call you and let you listen to it... Chuck I

Someone please post an HD vid of the exhaust sound, 'cause out of all the clips I've seen of this exhaust, the high end sounds extremely raspy. It's not the same as what's being described

not raspy at all on higher RPM's...video is really a hard gauge for sound quality...over the phone will be the closest or if someone close in your area that has it can give you a ride on it...

When I got home the UPS driver had left it on the step with a BIG hole through the box... looks like they put a fork through it... Some how it missed both units... When started to open the box it was packed so well I had to take it apart piece by piece! Thanks for another great product! Chuck I

Ah, I would bitch at them about it. Its one of the reasons why we use a little bit bigger of a box than the exhaust would fit. It allows us to inject the foam to protect the exhaust. Good thing it was undamaged. Otherwise we would have a mob of Z4 people outside the ups hub. lol

If anyone is near the Phoenix area, send me a PM and we can meet up. I've got about 100 miles on my RPI exhaust so far.
