Question Auto?

I am new here and yes I have used the search feature so pls don't bash. I am looking at getting an 05 z4. Recently married wife can't drive a stick. I have driven a standard 4 loved how does the automatic measure up the normal auto. Non smg no paddles. How much power loss is there? How much top speed is lost and acceleration. It will be a daily driver for now till I get a car another car after deployment. Then it will mainly be mine. Is the auto worth it at all. Or does the wife need to learn the stick? Thanks for any input.

Teach wife how to Drive a manual... the best answer... You will always be happy, and she will be happy as hell that she knows how to drive it.

Or, vise-versa... buy a manual, then don't teach her how to drive it...

PROBLEM SOLVED

Also, if you want your wife to learn to drive stick get someone else to do it. Teaching a relative to drive is a bad idea, there's a lot of stress involved.

Ya right now we are in korea. And she told me that they actually have classes to learn how to drive a stick. I'll leave it up to the pros. I was like babi you know what. I will never ask anything from you if you take this class. She agreed I told her there is nothing sexier then a beautiful woman driving a stick in a beautiful car. Thanks ya its good shes doing it here i didn't know if they have anything good in the states to teach. Sorry i'm german originally. We drive stick n enjoy it moving to the states kinda dissappointed me car wise. Thanks for all ur input.
