Just saw this on Amazon in my suggested items. Castrol Edge TWS (this is how all TWS is labeled now) $120 for a case of 12, with prime shipping.

The price of TWS will continue to drop as a result of it not being factory fill anymore. The change happened 4-6 months ago if I remember correctly

Nice find! Does anyone have a preference between the Maan vs. Mahle oil filters?

I found this nice writeup on Turner Motorsport's website that has me leaning towards Mahle. The price difference doesn't bother me - I just want the best

I like Mahle on the S54 for the same reasons stated on Turner's site - because it is the exact replacement for the OE filter. It has the metal end caps and all the markings (except for the "BMW" brand) of the OE filter.

The Mann filter, on the other hand, is physically different (no metal end caps) than the OE filter. Don't get me wrong, I like Mann filters. I've use mostly exclusively Mann filters on my M54 X5, but for the S54, I just want to use the closest thing to an OE for less than half the price of an OE filter.
