Z4 coupe, How is this part removed/installed?

Got car back from dealer and panel no longer sits flush. Have a call into dealer, but would like to avoid having to go back if panel can easily be popped off, re-aligned and then pushed back into place.

How is this thing removed? Is it screwed down? Something else have to be removed first? Panel sits on top of rear bulk head right in the center.

See Picture.

Hi

If that is the top panel between seats and above center compartment it is held down with four metal spring clips and it does just pop off. I put my Dice module under it for easy access.

Correct, that's the area.

Stupid question: how do you remove a panel held by spring clips? Just yank on it really hard?

It removed from the rear, be careful, that is some shitty plastic. The front has a couple of levers that slice into slots in the front side. I had to remove this and place some anti-squeak tape (3M) underneath, it was a squeak magnet.

So you pry that panel off from the trunk area side rather than from the driver seat side?

Wish I knew what the panel looked like underneath so I could pull on the right spots.

Yes, carefully. The front has a section that is like a tongue-and-groove and locks under the lower portion above the cubby door. There are 4 metal clip things that are attached to fragile plastic, those look like they will break easily. Your pic looks like a misalignment, so you may want to life from the front and rear simultaneously and carefully, it feels like it won't budge, but it will.

#16 in this pic doesn't really detail the underneath and the clips, but #17 is what the clip looks like.
