Headlight ballast access/removal
I bought a 2003 E85 (97k miles) with the right headlight out. I replaced the bulb then the igniter but headlight is still out. I believe that the last one to replace now is the ballast. if that does not work, any ideas. If it is the ballast, how can I access and remove it without removing the front bumper. I know I cannot take it out using the 2 access points from the wheel well.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Technobuff |

I would be swapping parts from the working headlight to the non-working. It could be the wiring or even the LCM.
If you can't get the ballast off through the wheel well access panel, then the bumper probably needs to come off. |
