FS: KW Clubsport Coilover for Z4M

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 2,000.00

Item Interest
Thinking about car change so selling the KW Clubsport coilover.
Not in hurry to sell but open to reasonable offer.

Bought from KW authorized dealer and installed in summer 2010, daily driving + occasional track days for 25k miles.
Perfect fit , has top camber plate and sway bar end links, designed and built for Z4M not a mixed bin parts from M3's like other coilovers.
Rebound adjustment done from the top (easy access) , not like the newer version from the shaft (weird).
Camber plate provides -3.5 camber, without interference with Z4M body hole opening unlike other company camber plate which has less camber or has interference issue.

To improve balance, KW California changed the front springs with stiffer springs (80N/mm or 456 lb/in vs. 70N/mm or 400lb/in) and while at it, they serviced/rebuild the front struts with new fluid and replace the top bearings in Mar 2013.
So, the front is like new. I have the receipt from KW California, paid $949 including the shipping.
The rear strut is in good shape and has no leak.

It also has the longer bolt above the camber plate so one can still install the front strut tower above the plate.

I still have the original box (see pictures):
- Front coilover + camber plates
- Rear struts + springs + height adjuster
- Sway bar end links
- Spanner to turn the perch height adjuster
- KW stickers

Cosmetic issue (see pictures):
The rear spring yellow paint is peeling (cosmetic issue)
The front perch has tire rubs when I tried to fit 275/35/18 in the front.

It is an excellent coilover for dual duty, comfortable for street driving and excellent body control for track days.

Not to thread jack but these are up for sale again! I just had them installed and have not really even begun to enjoy them but I have to sell my car due to an emergency. Don't worry folks, for those of you that know me, I'm a Bimmer man for life and will be back with another M car before you know it! Text me your best offer! Check my other thread in the classified section to see how the car sits on stock wheels. 415-269-2242.
