Don't think anyone here has done gloss, it's all been CF wraps iirc.

I remember seeing a white coupe with volks that had a gloss roof. Just want to see how it would look. I havnt even seen any carbon roofs yet. Just the one white coupe from the uk

I've got carbon wrap job (lulz, that's what she said).
Couldn't justify spending over a grand for the real thing. I got my roof wrap job done for $175 materials & labor xD
Plus at the time when I was in the market for one, it was hard to come by

This car has a glossy roof, idk if you can see it well in the pics. Looks snazzy in person, gotta keep it clean though.

Wouldn't a black roof just get dirty a lot faster than the rest of the car?

why would it get more dirty? color doesnt justify how dirty something gets. it may show more dust, but thats about it. the point of this thread was not which color needs the least amount of maintanace

I asked a legitimate question. I didn't say black would get more dirty. I asked if black would show dirt more easily and sooner than the rest of the car - since, umm, it's black? I'm asking because I'm interested in getting my roof black and was wondering what people's experiences are.

If a real carbon fiber roof was a available, I'd have gotten it already.

By the way, love your ti-silver Z4MC. I owned 3 ti-silver Z3/Z4 and was sick of that color and thought it was boring and never showed enough shine or reflections compared to space gray or sterling gray.

Your Z4MC is a perfect example that with a bit of photoshopping, even a ti-silver Z4M can look amazing.

LOL. You did kind of imply that it would get dirtier but we all knew what you meant.

Bit of a backhanded compliment on the silver. I'm sure it looks awesome in person too.

i say just paint it black. it will look great with all the other black bits you have. if the carbon roof ever gets finished you can always pick one up later.
