My sensible self has been wrestling with petrol head self over these for some time, but persistence has won out - is it too late to come in on this group buy? I have sent an email to Status Gruppe and am keeping fingers crossed....

If you think you'll get a response to PM or email good luck, you're better off calling him. However it's not too late, just send in you deposit and wait (at your own risk). Honestly it's kind of pissing me off because I'd thought they were going to be shipped by end of March and I'd have them in hand this coming week. There's been a real lack of communication from the Vendor which further annoys me, I called him last week Tuesday and he indicated that he'd some news from the manufacture Tuesday/Wednesday and he'd post on the forum but there's still been no update. JMO but I think there is/was a delayed production so he offered to extend the GB. This has been my first Group Buy with Status Gruppe and probably the last, I can't say I'm overly impressed but I'm glad the cost is down to $690 LOL.

Thanks for this. I was about to place my order when I read comics69's post in the engine mods section which raised concerns over fitment. Another poster suggested he may have just bolted up the two header banks in the wrong place - is this even possible? I am hoping to see this resolved in the next day or so before placing my order.

Also, do you have any concern over drone/ loudness, given your setup? I have a pair of Stromung exhausts awaiting installation when I get back, and given my car is not a dedicated track vehicle, I am wondering if the SG headers + Stromungs may be a bit too much.

From everything I've read online these are pretty straight forward to install so either he's doing it wrong or something is wrong with the header.

I'm not concerned with the drone, and if it does drone a bit I'll just line the trunk with Dynamat sound proofing.

If you come out to the GTA Cruise check out Mirko car as he's got the same setup but with fabspeed headers.
