I personally don't think Interstate Batteries are sub par, I just think the odds of getting a less than 100% battery off the shelf is greater than we think.

So the battery could be the issue? As for AC, jump starting it could've put the car in transport mode, if so, the only way to solve that issue would be coding the car?

I left the battery charging at autozone all day. Picked it up at night and they said it read "good" battery. I put it back in my car just now 11PM so I'll see if my car starts tomorrow morning. I STILL have no AC in this 105 degree weather

I would have the car checked to see if it is in transport mode.

Thanks chickdr, having my car checked tomorrow morning on my day off from work. The car is not dying as quick after Autozone charged the battery but it does start weak and has a charge of 11.2 when the car hasn't been turned on for about a 13 hour window.

Ross, it is a long shot, but open the door to the center console (storage area) and see if the bottom of the door still has the little plastic tab. That little plastlc tab engages a light switch at the bottom of the door. If it is broken, the light is staying on all the time and draining the battery.

Salty, thanks for your response. I replaced the battery today as it was a bad battery but car remains in transport mode, or at least that's what I think. My mechanic checked my car today and indicated that the FSU (final stage unit) is fried and needs to be replaced so I might just place the order today.

As for that light in the center console, I replaced it with an LED a long time ago which I believe it ended up burning out. I will check it anyway because at this point I've tried almost everything but that. I will keep updating info

I had the same problems you're having, which is why I've mentioned to others on the forum to not assume you have a good battery just because they placed it on the charger and said it was good. After replacing my alternator, they put in a new battery for me. It never held a good charge, just like your battery did. Luckily I never went as low as 11.2, more like 11.6 to 11.8. I finally broke down after about 9 months of this and put a new O'Reilly AGM in the car and problem solved. Glad you finally figured out the cause. Electrical problems can be so frustrating in these cars

I blew a FSU about 4 years ago. Too bad it was so hard to get to otherwise I would have replaced it myself. It was in the middle of winter and I had to get it done so 2 hours of labor flew out of my wallet.

Haven't had any problems starting my car with the new battery but I just replaced the FSU (final stage unit/blower resistor) and AC still not blowing. Fuses are fine. Any ideas??
