REAM would nto be good, I did see that thread boon, thanks. So wait why does a z4m coupe beat an e46 m3? Same motor right? is it the weight? I did hear that the z4m coupe has the M3 CSL motor, but I am not sure if that is accurate and if it is, then whats the difference in the CSL motor? I thought the csl was just a lighter version and stiffer suspension, but same engine...

It's not the CSL motor, the CSL motor has a carbon fiber intake plenum, among other things.

There are plenty of factors that go into it, the z4m computer is faster, the suspension geometry is different, wheelbase, weight, etc.

I got my Z4MC mid-June. I am also looking for a good personal plate. Something subtle. I'll be watching for ideas.

It has the S54 motor. The Z4M has CSL brakes.

The Z4M lower to the ground, stiffer suspension, and can corner faster. It's about 300 pounds lighter, and I can go on.

I beat a E46 M this past weekend autocrossing by .846 seconds. He was running on Bilstein Coilovers and who knows what else. He was in STU and I was in AS.

We were both running on Toyo Proxes T1Rs

CA doesn't allow "/" as a character and by the time I bought mine two years ago most of the Z4 M related plates were already taken, so I went with Z4 MMM as a bit of the nod to the ///.
