TE37 SL's on IB

Picked these up recently.

I really like the wheel profiles, but I'm not sure if the color is right. Depending on the lighting they can look like dark gunmetal, really light grey, and even like they have a polished lip.

I still prefer flat black, but I am going to give another day or so before I make any changes.

I appreciate any feedback you guys may have.

The profile is awesome...

Pics of your car from a distance look better with the G2, the color of these really suited your car.

That said both look great.

not quite feeling it, though really wheels and such are all a matter of personal taste/preference. do feel ur old flat black volk te37s with a flat surface (no concavity) looked the best out of them all (csl, g2 and now the 37sl's).

Absolutely love the wheels Chris!!! (these were on my radar as well).
I think the only problem with the color is that you are so used to black.

Looks great as usual! Love the concavity! I'm also used to seeing a darker finish on your car but I'm sure we will all get used to it. I always wondered how your garage is so clean too...your pictures inspire me to clean my garage.

they look terrible. you should give them to me

I like it better on your car than the flat black ones, but just my opinion; that said, I think that if you have enough doubt to ask out here, you should probably go back to black, as you'll like it better. Do you still have the flat black TE37s from before, or had you sold them?

Thanks, no center caps though. These are 1lb per wheel lighter than standard TE37's & cannot fit center caps.

I agree, leaning toward keeping these and refinishing them

"not quite feeling it" I could not have said it any better. I think they look awesome, but not quite right for my coupe.

Yes, I think wheel choice really adds a personal touch to any vehicle. I agree with you on the flat black & prefer the the wheel profile on the new wheels. It all comes down to personal taste.

Thanks Ian, you may be right about the color. I am really partial to flat black, but this is a really nice finish too. You mentioned in your FS thread low heat PC for the stockers. Do you have any more info on this?

Yes I am

I am ocd when it comes to my garage. I figure clean-up time into every project I do. Even worse, I clean my tools before I put them away after each use.

Thanks man. Still prefer your SB Mag blue combo. Something about really works well. Now get to cleaning

I only have two. Thes were from my M roadster. I sold the set and two were damaged in shipping. It would cost more to re-finish them than I can sell them for, so I'm planning to do some sort of garage art with them

Wish I hadn't, but I sold the flat black TE37's when I bought the G2's

That's pretty funny we picked up the same wheels, I told you the color was off on them, dunno, something about the color just doesn't go with IB or IR. Your car still looks awesome though!

I usually like gunmetal or black with a polished lip, but IDK...there's just something missing. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the style of wheel? Color on IB? IDK!

Like AC/DC...Back in Black IMO

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that there is something missing. I love the wheel, so I beleive it's the color that's off

LOL...I leave tools out justifying I'll need to use them soon enough...either way I like this color better than black

If I were you I'd leave them alone for a while and if it continues to bug you or not grow on you change the color

Also, what are the wheel specs and tires/size?
