Hey guys,

I am about to purchase these http://mylitco.com/car-LED-lighting/...eadlights-bulb

Anyone have experience with these? Pics? Or a better suggestion?

Thanks in advance,

The only way to have bright white light is to convert it to HID.

be weary of any product that has a typo in the first sentence of the product description.

Hahahaha!!! I don't want HID, just something that isn't yellow and will match my Xenons a little better.

This reminds me of the one thing I wish my M had, fog lights. Why did they design fogs into the front end of the 3.0 models, but not the M?? Anyone know of any tasteful, quality solutions for adding fogs to the M?

Don't mean to hijack a thread, but figure this discussion slots in with what's already being discussed.

I asked the same question eons ago when I got my M. It seems especially strange considering the 06-08 Z4's have the slim line fogs. I would think they would fit in the slot where the intakes for the brakes are located. I was told it was tradition since the Z3M did not have fogs either. No answer as to an aftermarket solution.

I bet those would work well. I swapped all my interior lights for the xenon match bulbs from Bimmian(not led so very inexpensive). They work great and look just like LED IMO. The license plate lights are particularly convincing. I just put some Solaris DRL bulbs in my wife's Q7. They are dramatically whiter than the OEM yellow bulbs.

I have heard HOEN makes a quality product over on the Audi boards. They offer H11 xenon match bulbs: http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm Maybe a better choice?

I've thought about getting some film to make my fogs even more yellow.

I have bright yellow bulbs in my fogs. Look great and are very functional in bad weather.

I don't think the e9x m3, m5, 1M, and m6 have fog lights either. That said, they could have made our dummy projector into a fog light, but I guess that adds cost, complexity, and weight. To be honest, I don't mind not having fog lights, but then I don't really drive through the fog that much...

Hoen actually has a line of bulbs "Endurance" which are super yellow. Supposedly like used in endurance motorsports. You can see them in the link I posted above.

I put HIDs in mine to match the head lights (both 5000K temp), plug and play with plenty of space behind the bumper for the ballast.

So is Hoen the best place to go to get white(HID look-alike) fogs? That's what seems to be the consensus...

I bought both my HID headlights (replaced the halogens) and fog-light kits from HIDSRUS, both with slim-line ballasts and they don't throw light-out indicator on the dash. There may be cheaper places out there, but I had bought from them in the past and they have great customer service.

I think I recall the fog-lights being an H-11; if you go to their site you can pull up the different options

In any event, they are very easy to install, literally plug and play

Going with the Hoen H11's as well as a LED license plate bulb to give it that "clean" look in the rear.
