Sprint Booster Installed

Holy crap. I have a '07 3.0si automatic. I installed the Sprint Booster module and it really makes a big difference. The response time is almost instantaneous. Is there a downside (aside from my gas mileage) about me having this installed? Any other problems that anyone has had?

No not at all. I have sport mode. It's much faster response time.

After reading through the description provided by Sprint Booster, it sounds like a stage adjustable sport mode button (minus the steering input) without the need to constantly turn it on every time you start the car.

Sport mode makes the car too touchy, and the gas pedal turns into an on/off switch. Very few use sport mode on the track for this reason. Otherwise, there are no downsides. I know normal and sport mode have different programming, in that pedal travel vs gas delivered is not proportional. Boosting the signal in normal mode doesn't necessarily make the car behave like it's in sport mode.

I had good results with the Shark Injector. It made the throttle much more intuitive. The bump in power and raised redline were nice too.

IMHO, combining the Shark Injector programming with another mode that boosts the signal when the clutch pedal is depressed would be the best of both worlds... being able to blip the throttle on downshifts but maintain that connected feeling.

I don't think the Shark Injector is available / works for my '07. I think my rev limiter is already set at 7k. Thoughts?

Not sure if it's available for the newer cars.
