FS - 2007 M Coupe 300 miles on her
Hi All, I've been looking for a white M Coupe for my sweetie and came across this amazing find that I wanted to share with you. It's a 2007 M Coupe, sepang bronze with the dark sepang interior. The car has 300 + - miles on it. No, that's not a typo. He's trading it in at Kimberly BMW in Davenport on something new. The dealership really isn't sure what to ask since this is a unique situation but they're starting at $39,500 to see if there's any interest at that price (I'd guess the answer would be yes). If you're interested, contact the salesperson at the dealership who contacted me - Brandon Prible at 563-505-5683. He seems like a decent guy and would probably be happy to help make this car go away without having to advertise. I am not affiliated with the seller in any way - just wanted to pass on a lead to the M Coupe brethren. Okay, now that I've made someone's day special, please continue to put out good white M Coupe karma so that something like this in white falls into my lap. Bill Schaefer |

Sorry, no links or photos. This car is owned by the saleman's slightly eccentric friend (you'd have to be to just let this thing sit in your garage). Anyway, it's showing up at the dealership later this week so you could check Kimberly's web site then for photos, etc. if you were interested.

Incredible! isnt this the second coupe youve found in the area and mentioned on here? 300 miles... dont have to worry if it got the 1200 miles service done yet...

Wow amazingly rare! Someone is going to be real happy. Hopefully it goes to someone that wont rack up too many miles on it. That is amazing!

Sepang bronze with sepang brown interior, it's my roadster's twin. Rather than being a selling point the super low mileage worries me. If the oil has never been changed, that oil is degraded.

Wow! That's too few miles to even keep the battery charged. There's potentially all sorts of oddities when you have a car that's not driven much. Still, what a rare beauty it must be.

Was thinking about this last night. Would't it make sense to change the oil and stay with the 'break-in' type oil that it comes with from the factory? to continue a proper break-in process to the 1200 mile mark?

For the average owner that plans on weekend driving it, is this car worth significantly more (or even less) than the car that has 12,000 miles on it? I agree it's great for someone that plans on putting it in storage and almost never driving it but I am not sure that occasional driving wouldn't have been just as good as it sitting for many years.

ex: Black on black, premium package M coupe (I think also 2007) with 12K miles sold at a BMW dealership in Texas last week. clean car-fax, no issues. Was listed at 33,8K. I would hazard a guess it sold between 32.5 - 33. I was watching that car, but it sold. This car is quite a find, just not sure how to quantify value on the "never driven" aspect of it. NADA and KBB will put a very big number on it - but I am not sure that is realistic. |

^this
a garage queen that has so few miles can be a lot of trouble, unless you plan to store it away. ....not many of those on this site though.

About 4 years ago I bought a 1996 Z3 with 9200 miles on it for $10k. Garage kept, driven only on the weekends, had never seen rain/snow. Sold it this past winter with 58K miles for $8k... not a bad deal. What I learned from the experience was that, since the car was driven every single summer, had had proper documented maintenance, and was owned by an enthusiast, I had no hesitation in buying the car. The first thing the mechanic did when I brought the car in (went to my own indy, and he hadn't seen the maintenance records for the car yet) was warn me that cars that sit can be very fickle things. The only issue I had was a bit of tire rot.
