Definitely risky to list without reserve price, but based on my experience, the reserve price scares away some buyers, and decreases the chance of an exciting last minute bidding war

Good luck, but I bet you get killed on that auction. You should part it out, then sell it. You're literally throwing away thousands upon thousands of dollars.
People who know about these cars are going to be scared to death to see an auction like this, no reserve with a highly modded car and 90k miles. First thing that came to my mind was rod bearings and somebody looking to dump FAST. Best of luck regardless however, hope it sells for what you want out of it. |

I don't have the patience to part it out, since I didn't keep the oem intake manifold and parts when I had the supercharger installed, and I'd have to re-tune it. I own my own business, and my time is very valuable to me. I'm open to PPI, and you can call the german specialty shop that has been taking care of the car over the past 4 years, and ask them about the mechanic condition of the car. the reason I'm selling with no reserve, is because when I set up my 1999 Viper GTS up on Ebay, both times with reserve price it didn't meet it. Then listed with no reserve, and it sold for $2500 over my original reserve price. I don't think this auction will go for less than $15k, and the car is paid off

Absolutely, I have no reason to not believe what you're saying and I hope it sells for a mint. I'd be shocked if you didn't get over $15k for it, if I had to gamble I'd say $21-23k (which I think is a STEAL).
Regardless, best of luck and sorry to see you selling the car. |

Definitely ballsy to sell without reserve, but if it sells for a stupid price like 12k, you can just bail on the transaction and take the negative ebay feedback, right?
Either way, good luck. I know you've been contemplating this for a while. What's next? |

For the 997tt, I heartily recommend the upgraded PASM controller from TPC racing. Best bang for the buck mod I've ever done! Huge handling and comfort improvement plus better ability to put down power. http://www.tpcracing.com/dsc.html |

I wouldn't expect it to either, but I wouldn't have the guts due to the small market for this car. Hoping it works out well for you. And nice choice on the new car!

98 people watching the auction. Sounds like a lot of vultures waiting to strike in the last hour. haha
Please feel free to request and additional pictures and videos if you're interested

These are DMH cutouts bought from marylandspeed.com. They have minor leaks while closed, so I just took off the butterfly valves and wiring, and put a blocking plate on for now. There is a way to mod them so they seal better, but I didn't want to bother with it
