End Links?

Does anyone know if KW V3s use stock end links? I downgraded my TCK D/As to KW V3s for a quieter, comfier ride (getting old, and not tracking as much anymore ), and I can't remember if I kept my stock end links, but the ones that the TCKs were using don't seem to fit the KW V3s. Looks like the seller didn't include them.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Oh, also, I'd like some rebound/compression setting recommendations. Currently I'm running...
Fronts: TBD (I didn't have any of those tiny hex wrenches to adjust with )

Rears: Rebound 8 clicks from full harsh. Compression 3 clicks from full harsh.

And I feel like the car is only barely more comfy than the TCKs with track settings. The car feels quite bouncy, which I would like to mitigate.

In this movie they put them on:

For the normal z4 they are not included, but it uses a completely different strut obviously, strangely with linear springs unlike the z4m V3 kit which comes with progressive springs (z4m clubsport comes with linear springs though).

I had to adjust mine because I use a M3 anti-rollbar (and that may be the reason)

You can test it:
When you jack up the car, the front wheels are in full droop.
When they are in full droop, the end links may never push the anti-rollbar against the lower suspension arm (otherwise it can damage the shock when for example you hit a pothole or on the downslope of a speedbump).
So if the antirollbar hits the lower suspension arm in full droop you have to shorten the end link.

With the progressive springs you should be able to get a reasonable comfy ride. If it's too bouncy just dial back the compression stroke (and rebound accordingly)

They use shorter than stock end links in the V3's. I have a set installed.

I have the rebound set in the middle on all settings. I am counting clicks from soft to hard.

Summer comfort: 5F & 8R
Summer stiffer: 7F & 13R
Summer track: 9F & 15R (I think, only one I don't have written down)
Winter tires: 3F & 5R

I was very happy with the track setting. I know I've tried stiffer and it bounced around too much for my liking. I think I was also pretty neutral on the under/over steer. I had the front's inflated 2psi more than the rears on super sports.

If you have to buy a set, I would recommend buying a set of adjustable endings to take the preload out of the front ARB.

Why are you running so much rear compression?

Cool, thanks guys! I contacted the seller to try and get me a pair of front end links. Hoping for the best

I didn't get the adjustment wrenches either. I'll see if my TCK wrenches happen to work on the KWs, but I'm not holding my breath for that lol.

Wait, can someone confirm 100% that the V3s are SUPPOSED to come with V3-specific end links? I'm assuming from that YouTube video that it IS supposed to come with it.

Seller is telling me that he can't confirm whether or not they're supposed to be included. Now we're bickering about whether or not I got an "incomplete" kit

I just don't feel like I should have to pay more money for proper hardware on an otherwise agreed-upon price point (especially if it's what should be included in a full kit anyhow).

There was a nice pic posted in the fore sale thread. Did you receive everything that was pictured?

Seems to me if you received everything that was pictured it's a done deal.

Installation instructions make it clear stock end links will not work...

http://www.kw-store.com/extras/docs/...ah68620034.pdf

No idea what the part number is for the kw compatible ones.

Yes, I did receive everything that was pictured. However, neither the seller nor I knew beforehand that V3-specific end links were required. (seller had it previously installed directly at his shop, and he didn't even open the box, so he honestly didn't know.)

The seller has since agreed to cover for the end links and has been a stand-up guy. Furthermore, he will be providing me the adjustment wrenches, which supposedly cost extra when originally purchased. Props to him and all of you for helping out!
I'm glad we could resolve this matter in a civilized manner. Cheers to the great people here @ Zpost

I just went with the normal ones that came with the V3 kit originally. Unfortunately they're backordered and have to be shipped from Germany. Will take 2-3 weeks supposedly.

I'll just go ahead and get alignment in the meantime, since end links shouldn't matter, especially non-adjustable ones.

actually the opposite is true.
Adjustable endlinks remove ARB preload.
non Adjustable endlinks add ARB preload, so depending how much, it could impact alignment.

Oh really? Hrmm...then maybe I'll hold off on the alignment then. I'll just try not driving the car much until the end links come in

Update to this thread. So gmd2003 (the seller of the KW V3s) helped with the funding for the required KW end links. As far as I can tell, they just look like typical Meyle-branded end links.

However, I still have yet to receive the adjustment wrenches, which were never included in the packaging...

Here's publicly calling gmd2003, have PM'd you several times already man. What happened to shipping those wrenches out like you promised?

Sent them USPS several weeks ago . They were 10 dollars , never could find mine as I told you previously . You got a killer deal on v3's with camber plates shipped for free to Cali . I really don't appreciate being hassled when I have bent over backwards to make you happy , when I didn't have to.
