Squeaky seat
My driver seat just started squeaking last week and it has gotten so bad that its hard to drive my car. Every little movement causes it to squeak, LOUD. Every bump, turn, if I shift my body weight, it squeaks. Even if I turn the radio up, I can hear it over it. Does anyone else have this problem? Would something like this be covered under warranty? Its a $60k car, not a POS Kia for crying out loud.

Or remove the seat, and look at the placement of the plastic connectors. |

Check that nothing has been dropped down the outside of the seat or make sure no part of the seat is rubbing the centre consul or rear/door trims, giving that annoying leather on plastic squeak.

I tried that. I adjusted it to different positions and it went away briefly, but then it came back. Also, this isn't a long term solution since I would prefer to have my seat in the same position all the time, not constantly moving in back and forth. |
