Jack points on a 2.5i?
I have a set of wheels coming, 18" Hyperblack CSLs! Yeah! I am planning on picking up a floor jack from Sears, but I can't seem to find definitive information on jack points to use when changing the wheels.
Any help from the gurus out there? A search didn't bring too much... |

Get a decent torque wrench and a short extension with a 17MM socket. Torgue to 88 ft. lbs or 120NM. (Torque reference below is from the Anti-Theft Wheel Bolt instruction sheet)

i bought a new jack with jack stands from Sears, the jack was about 1/2 inch to tall to fit under the rubber jack point so i drove the wheels onto a 2x4 and the clearance was fine...

I did the same thing using my old jack (that fits under my other cars), but I figured since he's getting a new one I'd mention it in case he didn't want a work around.....thanks for the tip.
