DKF hasn't designed a way to use stock or mufflers with stock style flanges yet. So for now, DKF mufflers can only be used with the DKF x-pipe. I will inquire with to see if there are any future plans for an adaptor in this area

Still working on a game plan with DKF. Doug and Gio (DKF) are working on a timeline to make sure they collect/provide the data the post is looking for before they set the new GB dates.

They will have new dates up soon

ok im pulling out on this i think....... Chris my friend, you are an awesome guy, no reflection on you at all but i do feel DKF just arnt pushing this hard enough, chris is one man with a job, a family, and not to mention a new family member arriving VERY soon, its impossible to expect him to be able to give this info and their is ALOT of info thats still in the air, no doubt this product is solid but ..... im out im afraid.......

thanks again guys and chris this is ABSOLUTELY no reflection on you, this is TOO much on one mans shoulders............... DKF sort it out and help chris FFS.

Thats what happens someone doesnt understand marketing and its importance in a project, im not talking about chris, just the makers of this exhaust which has not been proven to be a huge performance upgrade for the money.
If it was half its group price, then u wont see anyone pulling out even if there were minimal performance gains, people would stick for just the sound, i knw i would.

Just to clarify here: the problem is pricing and marketing and a POC with some dynos unrelated to header gains.

Last one is too gnarly for me. Too raw for a street vehicle.

Thank you for uploading the videos! That is one clean garage too, impeccable.

looks awesome, can the hangers be used with any aftermarket exhaust such as the Super Sprint power loops? Any CEL lights with the upgraded cats?

Yep, you can use them in place of the OEM and they will work with any exhaust.

I havn't put enough mile on the cats to know for sure. My car is having a sensor issue in the headers. It is un-related to the DKF stuff, but I am having to take a the car a part to find the issue and it has be preventing me from getting some of the final data I told DKF I would get for them

what do you recommend for someone with factory headers,Super Sprint Xpipe, and Super Sprint power loops? I have no concerns with smog, but would like the best preforming combination without CEL codes. Do the resonators go in place of the CATS?

So would that be Factory Headers->DFK SPIPE->???->Super Sprint Xpipe->Super Sprint Power loops.

oh and put me down for the group buy on the hangers.

A new time line for the group buy will be introduced once everything is worked out.

If there is a Z4 M in the phoenix area with open flow headers that is willing to do some testing, send me a PM.

Thanks,
Chris

DKF Exhaust System Group Buy:
^ Project update on page one ^

Hey guys, I told DKF I would help with specific testing/info at the begining of this project and I am sticking to my word. I have run into an O2 sensor issue that is un-related to the exhaust, but prevents me from getting good dyno info. I will continue testing and posting info, but until my car is 100% I will not be performing Dyno's.
In the meantime, if there is anyone in the Phonix area with a Z4M that wants to help out with testing, please send me a PM.
cheers,
Chris

Is this still on?

Diokaef, you seem to indicate it is not?

Guys I have confidence that the power that this exhaust makes is good and I know for fact that it sounds great, that said I'm going to start posting in our website prices for the system, GB may not be the way to go, but for those that want to pay the price for a system that is built from the ground up we will start accepting orders by end of the month, hangers are already on the website and they are ready to go for those that want to have better sound and adjustability.

Also by next week we will have other things on the website that were under development this last year.

I fear this is falling out of favor for many if it has not already?

DKF is still planning on following through with the group buy to the best of my knowledge. They are just re-grouping to collect the needed dyno info before they kick it back into gear.

Im very happy to hear that they are going back to get the proper dyno information. Its all anyone wanted to see, we all know the quality is A-1 and for most thats enough but its good to get proper dyno info for those who are perhaps on the fence.

Thanks Chris,

From your recollection how would you describe the audio level (peak db), and drone between the DKF Sport, Race, and RPI exhaust?

What would be the difference between thee V1 and V2 of the race resonators with the o2 bungs? Can the DKF S-pipe and the race resonators be connected to an OEM style (RE) X-pipe?
