It appears to be supercharged and fed by a tube drawing cold air from the CSL type bumper.

i originally bought the car for my GF. she complained that it was too small for her school stuff so i kept it and bought her a TL. I secretly wanted it so i can make a project car out of it lol.

I realize that its supercharged, and that there is a tube for air to come in on the side of the filter, its just asking for a LOT of heatsoak in that location, with no shielding. I hope the z4m kit won't be the same from AA. I'm sure it was fast as flock though, and the meth injection kept the temps mostly in check

well the heatsoak was an issue but not as bad as you might think, the air coming in and up through the intake as well as the meth definately kept it cool. this was literally kit #2, #1 being on their track car. they changed the design of the filter because it kept falling off. it was a bad angle. if its based off of the HKS GT unit then most likely it will be exactly like this.

lol like i said i saw one of your pics and decided thats a good look. im just gonna do a couple of different things. oh i also have torinos in the car (hard to tell with the blacked out tint.) i installed the intake but its not going to be a keeper. im definately going V8 or SC if Active helps me out.

i have coilovers coming in next week. these wheels are 19x10 et 32 in the rear and im going to drop this bitch till she scraps the floorboard off and i can use my nikes as brakes.

fender pulled. Hamann lip, some ebay black headlights. (testing) blacked out grille.) already installed the Stebro (kinda quiet, its ok) and a few new interior pieces.

Can you please take some shots of the headlights after you installed it and comment on the quality of it etc. I believe there are a few on the board were wondering on the fit and finish of the ebay headlights. One of the major concern was if it's auto leveling and the project quality if close enough to OE projectors.

Looks like it's going to be a great project!

TIA,

it almost looks like your tires were put on backwards/ the wrong side. shouldnt the tread pattern be going the other way?
