2003 z4 Airbag Issues - Front Impact Sensors?

Newb here but i've been reading through the forum for the past few months to solve issues on a new to me 2003. The front underside of the car was ripped off at some point and a poor repair was made to pass on the car and problems to me.

I've been working with the various software options and have been able to resolve most of the issues (much thanks to the forum)

The main sim sim unit was bad and unable to communicate with the satellites.

i utilized Realoem to get a new module that was compatible. Flashed the module retimed the satellites car was happy but then threw two new codes related to the front impact sensors being non functional. Studying wiring diagrams it does not appear the 2003 has impact sensors? The wires and modules listed seem absent in 2003 but are present for 2004?

Do you have ISTAD? It should allow you to dig down on the faultinto whatever system sub system is causing the fault or suggest what system subsystem specifically may be the cause of your fault and then suggest repair procedures or test procedures.

I do. It is definitely a fault originating from the main airbag sim
repair procedures are listed however none of the wiring for impact sensors is present in the wiring loom. so i'm trying to determine if 2004 was the first year for impact sensors.
