LC 500 too big?

Seriously considering the move to a 2022 and up LC 500 Coupe from my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0 manual.

Lately I have been feeling like a GT car fits me better.

The LC seems to tick quite a few boxes for me.

1. unique and rare
2. beautiful
3. reliable
4. sounds amazing
5. naturally aspirated
6. DCT like transmission (I need this as a manual lover)

I have yet to drive one and intend to do so before making the move but interested in hearing from people on here who have experience with the LC. (a 20 to 30 minute test drive can only tell you so much)

I tend to like manual, small, compact cars with good outward visibility. The LC would be a big departure from that, but offers an amazing ride and good clearance which makes driving in a city with horrible roads more enjoyable. On the other hand its sheer size makes me wonder how it would be to live with in a city with tight roads and parking.

Very different cars but my buddy has the IS 500 F sport. I got to see it in action for few days at different track events and that v8 is really sweet. The only thing that’s ehhh is the transmission, for street driving it’s fine but for performance driving it’s always confused, in the wrong gear, etc. If the LC shares the same gearbox, coming from a Cayman you will be disappointed.

Last week of June I had to bring out the F10 because the Z was unavailable but my buddy’s IS parked next to me. We just finished up our session, and yes we had the 2 heaviest boats that day lmao.

I had a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe for a while. Spectacularly powerful and luxurious. But big. I also have a 2013 E350 wagon and that coupe made it seem downright svelte in comparison. I live in southeast Pennsylvania, where the roads were laid out by people on foot or horseback or carriage, i.e. small and narrow. The AMG Coupe felt monstrous on those roads. Not unwieldy, because it was actually quite nimble for its size. But just not "on its home ground" if you will. It needed more room to run.

I've been eyeing the LC500 too. I need something I can coax my wife into for longish romps into the unknown on interesting roads. But if it is silly in width I may just stop right there.

nice, the S65 coupe is such a beautiful car, the LC is actually wider then the S65 but not as long...

I recently finally drove an LC and didn't find it too bad on the road, but parking it is definitely a struggle in tight environments
