All the god damned time. On mine it's due to a fault with either the bulb, the ballast, or the ignitor. Its an intermittent fault and it doesn't always happen. Usually after the lights have been off and then come back on again. Also it changes sides on driver and passenger.

Does my head in and I've searched a lot and can't figure out which of those three things to replace.

If you happen to remember m, I'd really appreciate it so I can order the lights size.

Cheers

The bulbs are BA9s, but they're trapped in the plastic holder.
Once you get the bulb out of the socket, look between the bulb base and the plastic and you'll see where the pins want to get out from under the plastic.
Use an Exacto to make some little notches and then you can get the bulb completely out of the holder.

Do a search for LED replacements. There was a thread around here somewhere recently.
