Looks nice! I've done quite a few cosmetic mods to my 2003 3.0i, located in Chattanooga. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions or want to know how things will look!

Front to back- M bumper conversion, carbon fiber grills, carbon fiber roundels, Tekarbon angel eyes with dark smoked signal strip, red RPi scoop, Sportline CSL wheels, clear side markers, BMW Performance shift knob, 2005 tail lights... car is titanium silver with a black top.

I will have my stock style 107 wheels and sound generator for sale soon if you're interested. Nice car!

Edit: What do you plan on doing with your old bumper? I'm interested if you want to sell it.

You mean the 2003 Bumpers? Ipla n to sell them starting probably next week when they get replaced by the new ones...Rear one is pretty good shape...front one is pretty bad at the bottom...

You did M bumpers on front and back??

How are those tekarbon aes working for you?? I'm thinking in doing those the week after next....

I just ordered the cowl grille as i do want to have all the components around the windshield new.

Do you have a recommendation on whiper blades??

Nice to hear you have done mods to a very similar car...

I swapped for an M bumper in the front only. The stock rear bumper is the one I would be interested in buying. I actually prefer the 2005 tail lights to the facelifted tail lights, although a quad exhaust would be nice! If I can find a body shop that can make a right cutout look OEM, I'll go for it.

The Tekarbon headlights worked out well, but you will need to do a little bit a wiring/splicing to get them to work. I don't mind helping if you need it. My car was down for a month when I did the Tekarbon headlights due to the holidays and delays in the shipping. The lights took a week to get out there, Tekarbon took 2 weeks, and then lights took a week to get back. Fortunately I had other vehicles to drive in the meantime. Here's a pic with the lights off and angel eyes on:

I have no preferences on wiper blades.

They look good!! I have the old headlights, so I won't be down while they do them, so I might do them and probably bug you on the rewiring when I get them back, In regards to the old bumper, I will take a photo once is removed and you let me know if you're interested in it. I will keep you posted...

Sounds good! I'll get some better pictures when I get back to Chattanooga. The wiring isn't that difficult once you figure out what you have to do, and Tekarbon sends instructions. You'll need a crimping tool. Totally worth it IMHO!

I have been getting messages on which bumper I got for the front, and cost for paint and body shop, etc...

So is the stock front bumper for 07, with the long center grid at the bottom and the rectangular fog lights.

They are charging me $500.00 for the front, rear and tailight frames, including installation; they are doing colour match, not just going with the standard colour.

This is how the car will look after I'm done with the bumpers and tailights...except Titanium Silver Metallic:

Send me a PM with your email to send you photos of the rear bumper, so you can see its condition....

SO now I've got the cable and the software to reprogramme my car...is there a guide somewhere that tells me which software to use to do some of the programming that I want to do?? Like for the new taillights (2007) from the current ones (2003)??

Any input is appreciated...

I will attempt to start coding tonight:
  • AutoLock doors at 5kph
  • Top UP and Down from Remote
  • Auto UP for passenger Window
  • Quick flash directional blinkers
  • Blinking light/beep on lock and unlock
  • Reprogramme LCU for Facelift Taillights
Hopefully everything goes right...

Get some good go-juice for your paint. Check Griot's Garage. Judging from your pictures you need to get some oil back in the clear coat. Zymol makes some good products for that as well. Give it a good clay and condition the hell out of it.

Please share what other coding mods are available for the Z4 when you get it done. I'm also curious as to what can be done.

I did see a video on YouTube where a 2003 Z4 was coded to control the top with the key fob.

Smile My 2003 BMW Z4 2.5i Project... Updates to BodyWork Done!!

Ok, so I started by selecting between the //M rear bumper and the Updated rear bumper... tough decision, but the //M Bumper meant more work...so Passed on it.....Rear Updated Bumper it is!!.

Next in the agenda, bought new wipers, went with Duralast Flex Blade 20" (passenger) and 21" (driver).

They fit well on my Z4... as you can see the windshield cowl looks like crap...so also to be replaced...

New Windshield Cowl, ready for installation:

Removed wipers (marking were they were sitting on the windshiled) and old Windshield Cowl:

Installed new one, and make sure everything snaps back into place...of course after cleaning the water channels of debris...

Wiper Arms back on...New Cowl looks good!!!

With that done..now onto the fun stuff!!!

Rear Bumper Repacement with New Updated Bumper:

Car in the garage, and tools in place:

New Parts - Updated Rear BUmper, Updated Tail Lights and Frames and bumper mount:

Bumper and Tail Lights removed...

New Tail Lights Surround Frame installed:

Bumper and BumperMount in place...Side lights reconnected as well as License plate lights...

Everything assembled into place and otside the garage.

TailIghts Testing before coding, to make sure wiring is reconnected properly:

Connector for Left Side:

Connector for Right Side:

Took my time so ended up taking my saturday.

Sunday morning ready to tackle the front bumper...

Here we go:

Updated Front Bumper Installation:

Updated Front Bumper. Fog Lights and Center Grille:

Z4 back in the garage:

Front Bumper, Fog Lights removed:

New Bumper, Center Grille and Fog Lights in place.

Making sure the Bumper is aligned to the line flow in my Z4:

Z4 outside the Garage with updated front:

Added Wind Deflector to it:

FInal Gallery of the Updated Front and Back

Left to be done is the Coding, Exhaust Tips. Inside door handles, Steering Wheel (maybe //M with buttons) and fix AMP connector.

Any feedback si much appreciated!!!
