Removable Front License Plate Options

Does anyone know of a front license plate option that is easily removable when I'm at a car meet? For a Z4M. I haven't found anything to this point.

I used to have a Z06 with this:

It was super easy to remove my license plate and it didn't require drilling any holes.

Thanks in advance!

I didn't realize the Skene Design holder was quickly removable:

Anyone have experience with it/reviews? I read it still needs a hole drilled?

Why not use one of the offset mounts into your tow receiver?

I made my own using a generic bracket and rare earth magnets. Don't have to mess with unscrewing, hex keys, cotter pins, tow cap covers, etc. Also like how it's centered.

I was reading up on the tow hook ones - are they quickly removable to replace the tow cap cover?

I like the idea of the rare earth magnets however it's hard for me to completely trust I'll make it work well enough that it'll never come off!

I also like the magnet setup.. how easy would it be to steal? I guess most don't know about it, do most prob don't try to pull on the plate..

Mine won't come off even at over triple digit speeds. Each magnet is rated at like 40lbs and I have 3 of them.

You can always tether to lower grills via zip tie or steel cable.

Nobody would suspect it's removeable so then it's matter of would anyone steal your plate in general.

Yes- just unscrew and snap the cover back in place....

You have to be semi careful when unscrewing (because of the curve of the bumper you could scratch the paint if done in a big hurry... don't ask me how I know)

I prefer the tow mount myself regardless. I have used www.gominigo.com for my Zed and other vehicles for about 10 years now. Great customer service as well.

Here's another rare-earth magnet approach for the MC which I've done with the last four new cars. I like to retain the factory look wherever possible. Obviously, the front bumper cover needs to come off so in my case it's somewhat of a joint venture between the body shop and myself when I do one. On several cars I've used solid epoxy to mold around and support crazy-strong circular magnets, tested to autobahn-level speeds with no issues. The air pressure at speed simply further jams the plate carrier into place.

Per a request here's a photo of it on-car. There's a very slight and desirable gap that keeps sharp edges of the carrier off the bumper cover to prevent marring.
