Hi,

I am looking for a Black Blank Panel from Z4M or Z4 WITHOUT the rectangle hole for the aux jack.

I ordered a replacement one from the 2006 and they sent me the new one WITH the AUX jack square hole.

51457053092 old part number that I want
51459128397 new part number that supercedes old (I don't want).

This is the one I have below. I want it BLANK, WITHOUT THE AUX JACK.

So if anyone who has A 2006 and has done the 2007 AUX jack retro fit on the panel underneath the AC controls and has the blank panel lying around please let me know.

Or

If you plan on doing the AUX jack retrofit, I have a new panel and will trade you for the one I have (AUX jack not included) and I will pay all shipping costs for the trade.

Ok. I did some research and I think BMW has a blank plate for this afterall. Part number 64228385142. I will order it and see if it fits and if so. Problem solved.

as an fyi, when i got mine from 2 different dealers (don't ask), both had the hole for the aux jack; not sure if they still make the completely blank panel or not.

It is discontinued, it was superceded with the new part number as mentioned above.

It is still available as the '03-'06 cars still used this part. You should be able to order it without any problems, I think its less than 10 bucks...

I looked at that already, the new part even supercedes the ones from the 03-06. It is discontinued.

I'll trade mine... my 06 Z4 doesn't have the factory port (all blank). BTW...will the cable etc come with this? I'd love the add the cable (aux jack) to my head unit.

Just the plate, you would need to buy the rest of the AUX jack etc.

You should do it bucko521, I drilled mine to put the aux-in in that location. IMO way cleaner than putting it in the ash tray.

I did the same, I wanted the new panel and aux jack but at the time I couldn't find the part numbers.
