helP DIY z4 vs speed bump

hello z4 family,

Very sad encounter as we approach holidays, i meet one of those ridiculous tall speed bumps that teared down my beloved z4 from underneath

on the bright side thanks to realoem.com and a few parts purchased on the forum, things are starting to look better as i work my way back into z4 standards, but i will be needing your wisdom team.

it seems I'm missing a few parts to get the engine underneath cover on place, can someone please confirm/share;
- Red circle area connect to the one piece side bracket?
- red square has that tube hole that goes where? part name or number will be amazing
- green square goes attached where?

thanks, looking forward to get this done and be back on the road by xmas

The red circle and the corresponding other side do attach to the left and right plastic ducts.

The green portion attaches to the rear of the car on the chassis stiffener plate with three screws.

A new underbody shield is approx. $160.00. I have to order on myself.

The front, that rubber piece is a air dam and anti-squeek piece. They are items 10,11, and 12. I think.

edit:. items 10-12 do not exist on your car, only on the ///M. I think that the rubber buffer is part of the underbody shield.

What I do not understand is WHY you would go without it?

The engineers at BMW obviously thought it needed to be in place or they, the bean counters would not have had it installed on the car. They would have saved the manufacturing and assembly costs, kept the total price of the car the same, and increased the profit margin of the car.

It's a splash guard. Also helps with aero and structure for your facia. For proper cooling it is needed as it helps keep the air where it needs to be and that is forcing the air throug the rad. Also it keeps from looking throug your facia and seeing ground which I never thought looked very pretty.
